The Role

We are seeking a Payroll Officer to join our Finance Division. Reporting to the Financial Controller and supported by a Financial Administrator, you will process accurate fortnightly payroll for our workforce in this full-time permanent role based at our Perth Head Office. Responsibilities include:

• Processing of end-to-end payroll using Pronto
• Interpretation and application of relevant awards and contracts
• Oversee payroll services including payroll systems, maintenance of employee databases and entitlements
• Addressing Payroll related queries and providing solutions promptly
• Maintaining confidentiality and integrity of Payroll records
• Interpreting company policies and government regulations affecting payroll procedures

What You Will Need

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in similar role
• Proficiency in Pronto is highly desirable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Sound computer literacy and competence in using the Microsoft office suite of products
• An organised approach to work, excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow through on activities
• Ability to work as a team member as well as autonomously
