About the Role
We are seeking experienced FCAW / MMAW Structural Coded Welders, confident in their ability to produce satisfactory weld tests in both 3G & 4G positions for ongoing FIFO work across Australia’s largest mine sites in the Pilbara and Goldfields regions.
As a Coded Welder you will undertake planned maintenance, shutdown and project works on structural fixed plant mining equipment, including but not limited to, crushers, conveyors, chutes, screens, bins, feeders, reclaimers and train loadouts.
What You’ll Need
- Australian Recognised or New Zealand Trade Qualification
- Proven experience in structural welding (3G & 4G positions – MMAW or FCAW)
- Ability to pass coded welding tests
- Australian Recognised or New Zealand Trade Qualification in Fabrication is advantageous
- Valid Working at Heights & Confined Space Entry (within 2 years)
- Construction White Card & valid Australian work rights
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical & drug/alcohol screening
- Site-specific inductions (Rio Tinto, Fortescue, BHP etc.) highly desirable
