Our group has now grown to an operational workforce of over 3,000 personnel with an extensive fleet of modern vehicles and equipment that operate nationwide.

Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join our Procurement team. Based at our new CBD head office, this position is offered on a full time permanent basis.

THE ROLE

As a Procurement Coordinator you will be joining and existing team of eight, responsible for “procure to pay” activities required to meet the purchasing/procurement requirements of all company departments and related businesses. The position will focus on the timely validation, input and processing of invoices received from external suppliers/contractors that support our diverse and growing business.

Duties include:

• Processing purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and online E-procurement transactions
• Sourcing goods and services through RFQs and vendor evaluations
• Responding to procurement enquiries and managing PO amendments
• Expediting orders and coordinating delivery of goods, including backorders
• Processing goods receipts and invoices accurately in Pronto
• Providing administrative support, reporting, and ensuring compliance with policies and deadlines

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will have similar experience, ideally in a mining, mining contracting or similar business. You will be able be able to maintain quality and attention to detail when working to deadlines in a fast paced high volume environment and be able to work effectively as part of a team with a willingness to share work as required.

You will also demonstrate:

• Understanding of the general “Procure to Pay” process
• Experience using the Pronto or similar ERP systems is highly desirable
• Knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Outlook as a workflow tool
• Experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance or Accounts Payable
• A related tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting, Engineering is advantageous
