About the Role

We are seeking experienced Blast & Paint Supervisors to support current and upcoming shutdown, maintenance and project works across Australia’s largest mine sites. In this casual FIFO role, you’ll access consistent work across 90+ client sites, competitive rates and genuine long-term career opportunities within a well-established national contractor.

As a Blast & Paint Supervisor you will be responsible for:  

• Supervising works to ensure all is completed to the client and company specifications
• Leading a team of trade and non-trade personnel to accomplish key deliverables
• Liaising with Linkforce clients and site-based personnel
• Planning and scheduling work and labour requirements
• Monitoring progress against the work schedule
• Record and monitor team members performance, provide mentorship and address issues where necessary
• Incident investigation and reporting
• Supervise and conduct visual inspections of work to ensure it meets required standards and client specifications (QA/QC).
• Ensuring adherence to all statutory requirements and company HSEQ standards and procedures

What You’ll Need

• Minimum of 2 years leadership experience as Leading Hand or Supervisor
• Certificate 3 in surface preparation and finishing
• Coatings inspector Nace level 1 – (Desirable but not mandatory)
• Familiar with abrasive blasting and painting QA/QC process. 
• Schedule 26 training
• BHP & Rio inductions are desirable but not essential.
• A strong commitment to health and safety
• Construction White Card
• A National Police Check
