The Role

Based in our Perth CBD office and reporting to the Human Resources Manager. This position suits an experienced HR professional who will be partnering with leaders across the business and providing practical, commercially focused advice across a broad range of people matters. In this senior advisory role, you will:

• Provide expert advice across employee relations, performance management, investigations and employment obligations
• Lead and support strategic HR initiatives that support business objectives
• Partner closely with leaders to deliver effective people solutions
• Manage complex and sensitive workplace issues with professionalism and sound judgement

What You’ll Need

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role, with the ability to demonstrate: 

• Strong employee relations experience, including investigations, performance management, and disciplinary processes
• Sound knowledge of employment legislation, Awards, industrial instruments and BOOT assessments
• Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills
• Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a practical, down-to-earth approach and the ability to build credible relationships across all levels of the organisation
• A proactive, solutions-focused individual, able to work collaboratively and autonomously, to deliver pragmatic, commercially sound outcomes
• Experience in fast paced mining, construction, or resources environments (highly regarded)
